I did it! Killed that long run.
I was dreading the big run today.But you know what I persevered and I did my long run today.
5.25 miles, yo!
I haven't even run 5 miles all year so this was a major accomplishment. I ran on my favorite treadmill on campus so it was all good.
Before I left, I made sure to eat things I knew would sustain me for the long haul. A whole wheat toast with peanut butter spread on top, some small piece of leftover Luna bar, and a cup of Light yogurt. Good combo if I must say so myself.
I'm going to do the Newtimes 10k in November.
I think I will be ready then.
This endorphin high is awesome. I'm a happy pup! :)
